This shawl displays imagery relevant to this couple’s journey. Imagery is drawn from the bride’s travelling and working in Vietnam: evergreen bamboo symbolizing the need in marriage to continually grown and bend. Honeysuckle is drawn from the couple’s English ancestry, symbolizing the generosity and abundance of their love. Dragonflies symbolize the couple’s commitment to each other through personal transformations and the phases of life.
